During the 2023-2024 school year, students must submit a USDA meal benefit application. Please see the "Free & Reduced Meals Application" page for more details.
The USDA has strict guidelines on what makes a full, nutritious meal. To qualify as a meal under USDA guidelines, students must:
Breakfast:
Choose one of our breakfast entrees and at least one serving of fruit. Students can also get an additional serving of fruit and a milk with their meal.
Lunch:
Choose one of our lunch entrees and at least one serving of fruit or vegetables. Students can get additional servings of fruits and vegetables and a milk with their meal.
If students do not take the required components for a meal they will be charged for each item separately. If students want single items instead of a meal, seconds on items besides fruit & vegetables, or snack items these will be sold separately. Please visit our "A la Carte Information" page for information on the a la carte program and the items offered.
Students may only receive a la carte items if they have cash in hand or prepaid monies on their cafeteria account. Parents have the ability to restrict accounts so that a la carte purchases can be limited or blocked completely. Please contact your food service director if you would like to learn more.
Online payments are the preferred method for funding student meal accounts. The online payment portal is secure, quick and easy to use, and offers additional benefits such as optional low balance e-mails and details on cafeteria purchases. Alternately you may send a check to replenish the student account. We encourage use of the online payment portal or check - cash can also be accepted but is discouraged.
